This Saturday is the first Active Recovery Yoga Class

What to expect: My goal is to give you more tools for pre and post workout/surf/anything active you get up to in your everyday life. The class will be one hour, and open to all experience levels(beginner – advanced). We will move and stretch using the benefits of yoga to hone in on the challenging areas in the body. My hope is that you leave feeling more mobile, balanced, aware and pain free.

-Class starts at 8:30 am(please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes early)

-BYO yoga mat, if you have one.

-Wear clothing you that offers no restriction of movement

-Class is included in your monthly membership, hoowever if you have a friend interested in joining, drop in is $10 cash.

Strength: 16 Min EMOM

Even: 1 Snatch

*Start around 70% and build from there if reps are going well.

Odd: 5 Tempo Push ups

*The prescribed tempo for these is 2-2-x-2. (2 seconds lowering, 2 seconds at the bottem, explode up, and 2 seconds at the top).

 

Conditioning: 12 Minute AMRAP:
8 Dumbbell Power Snatch, alternating arms
12 Pull-Ups
24 Double-Unders

Choose the heaviest dumbbell that you can handle. You should be able to do the sets of 8 with not much more rest than the second that the dumbbell is on the floor for the switch. Sub bands or ring rows for pull-ups, 15 attempts + makes for doubles.
